By casting of hands of the artists with experience of migrants in EU, I wanted to point to the Mediterranean as a transit area. Space, which is a desirable tourist destination, while on the other hand this environment is a polygon for almost all current political and military crisis. Casts of hands placed in the beach fulfilled with people clash these two realities: European tourists and migrants from Middle East and Africa.

Symposium of Sculpture in Stone “Formio fluvis“ 2015 in Dekani, Slovenia.

Work were made at the Symposium sculptures in stone Formio Fluvis 2015  Dekani near Koper. The work represents a section of the landscape, representing two  mountains  and at the place of their touch they are building river. Wavy image of the  landscape continues on the sides of a marble block, like that landscape becomes as an  open book. Finishing of the upper part and the sides of the sculpture makes contrast in  the quality  of materials, polished stone as opposite to a rough‐carved surface.
